COVID-19 Statement : Managing your risk of exposure to the Coronavirus is essential to maintaining good health.We will be following
USEF,CDC & WHO guidelines for managing risk of exposure & will have several sanitation stations on the grounds. Any person who has a
temperature of 99.5 (F) or higher or has symptoms of COVID-19 cannot enter the competition grounds. Additionally, except for healthcare
personnel who have treated patients using appropriate medical-grade PPE during the course of performing professional duties, anyone who
has been in contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days cannot enter the competition grounds.
USEF and USDF require that all staff, grooms, trainers, and participants are required to wear a face mask or face
covering at all times while on the competition grounds except when mounted on a horse or driving a horse-drawn
carriage or cart. If social distancing and/or mandatory requirements are not followed, that person will be removed from the
facility. The Technical Delegate must report instances of non-compliance to the Federation.Competitors are limited to one
additional person on the grounds—groom/trainer/etc to limit contact between persons. Spectators will not be
allowed on the grounds.
ENTRIES: Entries will ONLY be accepted online at EquestrianEntries.com, first come first served& may be limited to facililtate social
distancing. Entries will be considered recieved when ALL entry materials- full payment of fees, all signatures, & copies of all required
memberships- have been received. Juniors under 18 must have parent signature for entry. Entrants in Opportunity classes are not required
to have USDF/USEF member & horse numbers or pay USEF drug or non-member fees. Entrants in Introductory classes are not required to
have USEF/USDF member or horse numbers, but DO pay the USEF drug fee. Post entries accepted if space available. Riders may not
cross-enter Rated & Opportunity classes. Ride Times: Tentative times e-mailed about 1 week prior to show. Final official ride times
posted at www.idahodressageandeventing.org & on Fox Village at noon day before show.
VACCINATION NOTICE : USEF vaccination policy effective 12/1/15; see GR845 for details. Download the form from:
https://www.usef.org/documents/membership/EquineVaccinationRecord.pdf & bring the completed form, signed by your veterinarian, with
you to the show. DO NOT SEND TO SECRETARY. No refunds will be given if right to compete is denied because the vaccination
documentation is missing or incomplete.
AWARDS: Ribbons to 5th, prizes to 1st provided there are 4 or more per class/division. Classes may be split into divisions at managers
discretion/if entries warrant. Champion & Reserve ribbons for Jr., AA & Open, if 4 or more riders per division at that level. Championship
scores will be averaged from 2 highest test scores per level in training through fourth levels. Other Breed awards may be given. Tests &
ribbons not picked up by competitor by the close of the show WILL NOT be mailed; competitor MUST provide proper postage & envelope to
the secretary, or make other arrangements to retrieve them or they will be forfeit.
SCRATCHES/REFUNDS: 100% refund before closing date; after closing date refunds limited to entrants with vet or doctors excuse less
$25. Secretary must be notified prior to the start of the show & excuse received within 5 days of the close of the show. NO SHOWS forfeit all
but drug & qualifying fees. Should the show be cancelled due to severe weather or other emergency, only drug & qualifying fees will be
refunded. Refunds for competitors denied entry due to COVID19 symptoms or exposure will be considered by the Les Bois Chapter IDEA
Board on case-by-case basis.
FARRIER & VETERINARIAN: On call. Names & phone numbers will be posted in the stable areas.
MEDICAL PERSONEL: will be on the grounds during competition hours.
SMOKING & PETS: For the safety of all concerned, pets & smoking will not be allowed on the show grounds.
STABLING: There are a limited number of stalls, 12X12 with full doors & rubber mats, on grounds- first come first served – at $150 Fri-Sun
initial bedding included, $40 each additional night & $10 per bag additonal bedding. Facility opens to competitors for schooling Friday noon-
7pm. Sharps containers will be available for needle disposal in the stabling area(s). Competition Management may fine any individuals
including trainers, owners, exhibitors, or their agents up to $100 for improper disposal of needles or other sharp disposable
instruments.
GROUNDS FEE : for non-stabled horses, $10 per horse per show.
ARENAS: All tests will be ridden in a 20 x 60 meter arena. Indoor warm up has Hoofgrid base/sand footing, outdoor competition ring has
Hoofgrid base/GGT footing. Only entered horses will be alowed in warm-up & competition arenas and must weartheir number when out
oftheir stall. The number of horses allowed in the indoor will be limited as a precuation.
DIRECTIONS: From I-84 take the Eagle Road exit north to Beacon Light, turn left & continue to Linder Rd, then turn right. Dressage at
Les Bois is on the left 4221 N Linder Rd.
ACCOMMODATIONS: Hilton Garden Inn off Eagle Road at 145 E Riverside, Eagle 208-938-9600 is within 10 minutes of show grounds.
CONCESSIONS:Under the Covid-19 guidelines, we will have bottled water and some limited pre-packaged snack food.
Please plan accordingly for food needs.
Musical Freestyle music must be provided in CD format to the announcer no later than 2 hours before the class
USEF Rule 1301.7: Minors who do not have a valid driver’s license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in
which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles,
scooters, or farm utility vehicles, on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may
operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver’s license. The parent/legal
guardian or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are
solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for
penalties against those responsible for the child committing the offense. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance
devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule.
USEF Rule 1301.8 The unsafe use of personal electronic transport devices, as determined by the competition officials and management
in their sole discretion, that do not require a driver’s license to operate, including but not limited to segways, hover boards, and single
wheeled scooters is prohibited on competition grounds. Operating such devices in areas where people gather may be deemed “unsafe use”
if there is a risk of harm to others. If the operator of the device is a minor, the parent/legal guardian or individual who signs the entry blank as
a parent or guardian of a minor operating the device in violation of this rule is accountable and may be subject to penalties. Wheelchairs and
other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule.

Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at Regular
Competitions,Eventing Competitions at the Preliminary Level or above and Combined Driving
Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and Vaulting Competitions and Endurance
Rides. A non-member may participate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at
Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions and
Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a $45 Show Pass fee. Participants in the following
classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races;
4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot (exception: Friesian performance FR218) and academy classes
(academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF
introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions. 8)
Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership in
good standing of their own National Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant
handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes.
EVERY CLASS OFFERED HEREIN WHICH IS COVERED BY THE RULES AND
SPECIFICATIONS OF THE CURRENT USEF RULE BOOK WILL BE CONDUCTED AND
JUDGED IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH.
