The Idaho Dressage and Eventing Association (IDEA) is dedicated to the equestrian disciplines of Dressage and Three-Day Eventing in the State of Idaho.
Chapters
IDEA has four regional chapters:
- Les Bois Chapter representing the Boise area
- Magic Valley Chapter representing the Twin Falls area
- Wood River Chapter representing the Sun Valley area
- Eastern Idaho Chapter representing the Idaho Falls/Pocatello area
Purpose
IDEA’s purpose is to foster an interest in dressage and eventing in form of offering clinics, competitions and other educational programs by which individuals and their horses are able to progress in the disciplines and encourage participation in the programs offered.
Membership
IDEA’s membership base is fairly diverse and ranges from beginner riders to upper level competitors in both sports and a number of our members pursue other English equestrian disciplines such as Hunter/Jumper as well.
IDEA is a General Membership Organization (GMO) of the United States Dressage Federation (USDF). This designation provides multiple USDF Resources to IDEA Members, including a GMO Membership and its benefits.
