Verena Hill

VERENA HILL, Head Trainer at Hallelujah Farms Dressage (HFD)

Raised outside of Munich, Verena Hill grew up in Dressage and Jumping Horse country.She began riding at 5, lessoning with local dressage trainers and at riding schools,helped at training barns throughout her school years and clinicked with national and international riders. During that time Verena's mother acquired a Lusitano, that ended up being her schoolmaster throughout the next years and developing together with her from 2nd Level all the way to Grand-Prix level.

After school Verena started working with horses full time and spent a
year in Spain to further her in-hand, Piaffe/Passage skills and training experience. She trained and managed at different barns in Germany before moving to the US in 2012 where she built a successful dressage businesses in Arizona, Idaho and California. ·

One of her recent highlights was an assistant trainer position for Olympian Jan Ebeling in Moorpark, CA in 2016. She has also clinicked with many well known names such as Conrad Schuhmacher, Robert Dover, and Axel Steiner to name a few.

Verena welcomes the opportunity to use her background and experience to build a european style training business at HFD, with emphasis on correct basics and producing a happy, well rounded equine athlete.

Erin has over 25 year of experience riding and competing in multiple disciplines. She began competing at a very early age in competitive/ endurance riding and had completed her first one-day 50-mile endurance ride at the age of 10. She also was active in both 4-H and Pony Club all through her youth and continued into adulthood in Pony Club graduating with her National C-3 rating. In her early 20’s she started competing primarily in the Evening discipline. She has restarted several off the track Thoroughbreds and competed through the preliminary level in USEA competition.

Erin enjoys teaching to all ages and focus on horsemanship and balanced riding in a safe and fun environment. She travels throughout the Northwest competing in USEA recognized Eventing and is able to help with coaching and hauling to competitions.
